Tips to Manage the Holidays

Holidays are a time to spend with your loved ones, celebrate, and give thanks. Now we know holidays can be stressful and overwhelming, but we wanted to share 5 things that you can do now to be prepared for the holidays! 

We’re making this number one because it is definitely the most important. This time of year can get really expensive real quick, so keeping a budget in mind and actually sticking to it can save you stress and money. Your pockets will thank you.  Well duh isn’t that a given? Not always… We tend to get overwhelmed by all the festivities, trips, school activities, and family from out of town, and honestly, we can keep going, but you get the point. Prioritize the festivities you want to do with your family, and plan out the next two months ahead of time! Including where your family is staying, where you’ll be going, and what you’ll be doing. Thanksgiving is this month and that alone can be stressful, especially when trying to cook everything for your family, but don’t be afraid to ask for help and have other friends and family bring dishes as well.
